TitleLetters to John Trenchard Trenchard mostly from Charles Henning his solicitor and George Pickard his brother; one copy letter of Trenchard's to Henning asks for statement of all facts concerned with alteration of Poxwell turnpike, the question of gates and Mr. Wood's assent to wall built in February 1843 on Trenchard's orders after application to Mr. Billett: only after latter's death in August did Wood oppose wall. In letter of 1843 stated trustees had no right to stop road up. In 1843 Wood agitating for a large gate through which his horses could pass.
