TitleAct for vesting fee simple and inheritance of certain lands and hereditaments in Winterborne Clenston in Trustees for R.H. Joseph, Lord Milton and heirs: concerns Higher Clenston owned by John Bull, third of manor and advowson, Clenston woods and lands in Stoke Abbott (fall description of latter on cards attached to document).. Note in Hutchins (3rd edition vol. 1. p. 19) that farm of Higher Clenston with third of manor and of advowson was purchased by executors of William Williams, gent. of Blandford for charitable purposes in pursuance of his will of 1621, and subsequently by private act of Parliament vested in Joseph, Lord Milton afterwards Earl of Dorchester in fee, subject in common with other property by said Act made liable thereto to rent charge of ??150 p.a. payable to trustees of said charity..
