AdminHistoryAllen and Elsie Ritson lived at the White House, 36 Maiden Castle Road, Dorchester during the Second World War. In 1945 they moved to Bath and in 1947 to the Wirral. Mr Ritson worked for the Inland Revenue. In 1938 they offered to help a Jewish family who were trying to get their daughter out of Austria. They also looked after a London evacuee in 1939 and helped Dr Josef Drucker, an Austrian Jew, to set up a business after the War. Allen and Elsie Ritson were Quakers.
